Bilzen Ecoren - Energy refurbishment of 8 homes
Ecoren’s mission is to develop universally applicable BEN (= almost energy-neutral) renovation concepts for single-family homes and apartment blocks. The process involves close cooperation with end users. The Ecoren pilot project is renovating four homes, with a focus on three key aspects: energy, comfort and convenience. The full refurbishment is being completed in just 20 days by pre-building new features, both virtually, in 3D drawing software, and physically, in an industrial hangar where the work cannot be interrupted by bad weather.
