Loonbeek gets new energy-neutral school
In Loonbeek, the construction of a new school for the Huldenberg district department of GBS Den Elzas begins. It is an innovative project: the new building will be constructed in wood-frame construction and is virtually energy-neutral. Teachers and pupils were closely involved in the plans.
The main focus of the plans is a pleasant learning environment that fits in well with the local surroundings. The spaces are 100% functional and much attention is also paid to environmental friendliness, sustainability and energy efficiency. The result will be a virtually energy-neutral building.
