New low-energy office building

Herent’s NAC, standing for ‘New Administrative Centre’, is a functional, flexible and energy-efficient building. The structure was made of concrete with Machiels Building Solutions’ prefabricated timber components assembled against it. Exterior finishing was subsequently applied in the form of various aluminium and Eternite panels. Energy consumption is kept to a minimum thanks to the thick layer of insulation material, the high level of airtightness and a number of other solutions.
