Landal unveils a new destination in the heart of the Ardennes
Landal Namur Nature in Gesves is a new five-star glamping resort in the Ardennes that opened in September 2025. Located in the green Samson Valley, near Namur and Dinant, the resort combines nature, tranquillity and luxury with a wide range of recreational and cultural attractions in the surrounding area.
The 12-hectare estate offers various types of accommodation, including cottages, forest lodges and glamping tents.
For the expansion phase in 2026, the client deliberately chose a modular prefab construction method. Machiels Building Solutions was responsible for the production and installation of 59 fully finished 3D prefab holiday homes, including integrated building services, interior finishes and terraces. The homes were manufactured under controlled factory conditions and subsequently transported, positioned and assembled efficiently on site.
Thanks to this efficient construction method, the consistently high finishing quality and the minimal disruption on site, the project was completed significantly faster than would have been possible with traditional construction methods. In addition, modular construction offers the flexibility to realise future expansions quickly and efficiently. This is a major advantage for a growing leisure development such as Landal Namur Nature, where additional holiday homes are planned in future phases.
With this project, Machiels Building Solutions demonstrates how prefab construction can be perfectly applied to high-end hospitality developments where speed, quality, sustainability and scalability are key priorities.
