Machiels Building Solutions to build 401 holiday cottages at Germany's largest Center Parcs resort

Machiels Building Solutions is involved in building Germany’s largest holiday park. In June 2017, the first two demo bungalows were manufactured at the production plant in Genk. The cottages are supplied as 2D elements complete with PVC exterior joinery and a thermally modified wood façade finish.
At Park Allgäu, the prefabricated bathrooms, stairs, fireplaces and roof elements were assembled on site by MBS during assembly so that we can assess how the cottages actually look and feel in their real-life green surroundings.
Construction work on the 401 cottages officially got under way in August 2017. They are being produced in Genk and assembled in Germany at the rate of two per day, an ambitious but necessary pace as Center Parcs aims to open the park in the last quarter of 2018.
