De Dobbit SCHRIJNWERK AWARDS belonen schrijnwerkers en interieurbouwers voor de realisatie van een bijzonder project. Ook (interieur)architecten kunnen – samen met de uitvoerder van het project – deelnemen. Deze prestigieuze vakwedstrijd telt 6 categorieën en per categorie wordt er een award uitgereikt. Categorie Houtbouw: Derde plaats: Machiels Building Solutions In de Antwerpse haven moest de nieuwe Doktoren het nieuwe oriëntatiepunt worden. Toen de architect tijdens het ontwerp wat problemen kende, klopte hij aan bij Machiels Building Solutions. Zij werkten een knappe structuur uit. WOONWERK wins first prize in the Design & Build competition for the slide-in Acaciawijk in Sint-Stevens-Woluwe.

On behalf of the social housing company Woontrots, Woonwerk Architecten, in collaboration with Dethier and Machiels Building Solutions bv, will be responsible for the replacement construction of 33 social housing units in the garden district 'Acacia' in Sint-Stevens-Woluwe.
