Machiels Building Solutions (onderdeel van Group Machiels) dankt haar doorbraak in gevelbouw aan een specifiek voordeel: de industri\u00eble prefabricatie van houtskeletbouwelementen verplaatst het werk van buiten (op de werf) naar binnen (in onze productieruimte). Dat vergroot de effici\u00ebntie van het bouwproces.<\/p>&#13;\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/machielsbuildingsolutions.be\/sites\/default\/files\/op_dreefmeest_recente_impressie_2.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De integrale en gecontroleerde prefabricatie verhoogt de kwaliteit van de totale gevel en reduceert de uivoeringsperiode op de werf. Alle onderdelen zijn perfect op elkaar afgestemd. En \u2026 de volledige verantwoordelijkheid over de gevelbouw zit in \u00e9\u00e9n hand. Bovendien ontwikkelde houtskeletbouwspecialist MBS een techniek om de prefab-elementen stellingloos (lees: snel en effici\u00ebnt) te installeren.\n\u00a0\nSneller en effici\u00ebnter fabriceren\nAannemers vinden hoe langer hoe minder vakmensen die van \u2019s morgens vroeg &#8211; in weer en wind &#8211; voor zware bouwarbeid op een stelling willen staan. Met geprefabriceerde houtskeletbouwelementen los je het tekort aan arbeidskrachten en kennis op de bouwplaats op, weet Filip Vercauteren (algemeen directeur Machiels Building Solutions): \u201cMet houtskeletbouw haal je het werk naar binnen. In een moderne productiehal prefabriceren we de elementen \u2014 inclusief ramen, deuren, gevelbekleding en eventuele technieken \u2013 voor de gevelbouw start. Mocht het nodig zijn, kan dat zelfs de klok rond.\u201d\n\u00a0\nGevelbouw met vooraf gecontroleerde kwaliteit\nProduceren in een gecontroleerde omgeving vermijdt bovendien uitvoeringsfouten. Filip Vercauteren: \u201cHet gevelbouw-proced\u00e9 verloopt ook een stuk effici\u00ebnter omdat je beter kan plannen, en omdat je de storende natuurelementen buitenshuis houdt. De kwaliteitscontrole gebeurt tijdens de productie en nog een keer v\u00f3\u00f3r het transport vertrekt. De aanlevering van gebruiksklare houtskeletbouwelementen verhoogt de bouwsnelheid op de werf en vergemakkelijkt de opvolging van projecten in gevelbouw.\u201d\n\u00a0\nStellingloos bouwen = besparen in gevelbouw\nOok op de werf is er een cruciaal voordeel. Filip Vercauteren: \u201cMBS verfijnde het montageproced\u00e9 waardoor we geen stellingen nodig hebben. Met de torenkraan &#8211; die ook al gebruikt wordt in de ruwbouwfase &#8211; installeren we alle gevelpanelen. Zo vermijd je steigerkosten en werk je veel sneller, met minder hinder voor de omgeving. Door een slimme aanvoer van de verschillende houtskeletbouwelementen, hou je de werf bereikbaar en beperk je de transporten. Stockage op de werf is minimaal: alles wat je aanvoert, monteer je meteen \u2026 in plaats van het op te slaan tot je het nodig hebt. Deze woontoren van 81 meter hoog verdeelt 152 appartementen over 24 bouwlagen. De opvallende vorm zorgt voor een nieuw ori\u00ebntatiepunt aan het Kempisch Dok. MBS voert de gevel uit in samenspraak met Binst Architects, hoofdaannemer Interbuild en Projectontwikkelaars Immpact en Kairos.\n\t\n\nThe Cube \u2013 Utrecht \n\tIn Utrecht is er veel vraag naar studentenwoningen. Daarom ontwierp TEAM V Architectuur in de Utrechtse wijk Overvecht het nieuwe studentencomplex The Cube. In dit opmerkelijke gebouw is er plaats voor 629 nieuwe studentenwoningen.
